3-D MOSAIC

Supplies: Stain glass pieces Glass cutter Goggles Clear household cement Grout 3-D object (vase, jar, box, bowl, votive holder, glass, etc.)

Trace around your object onto sketch paper. Plan a design and/or layout glass by color (3 or fewer colors is best). Plan can be drawn on object with water color marker.

Pick out glass from back cupboard and cut squares of glass 1/4 -1/2 inch in size, wearing goggles.

Glue squares in place paying very close attention to SPACING. You want consistent, parallel, even spacing, even if the glass is irregular.

When glue is dry, grout between the glass mosaic. Cleaning as you go makes cleaning the glass easier and more effective.

Fill out assessment and turn in.
