Will you be the celebrity? Imagine if your work was admired every day by hundreds of people! Imagine if you were documented in history FOR EVER! This is your challenge… Daventry Town Council is starting a project to smarten up Bowen Square and, as part of that project, they are proposing to put some permanent art work on the walls of both Waitrose and Clinton Cards premises. They are hoping for a more modern version of the Town Crest.

Your Task… 1.Do some research into the history of Daventry and create an image board / photomontage about DAVENTRY PAST & PRESENT. This may be A3 or A4 size and you may incorporate images, your own drawings, newspaper clippings, text, photographs etc. 2.Design a modern Daventry Town Crest. You may choose to modernise the existing Town Crest, or re- design it completely. Do not include “Counsel Museum” text. Use your research sheet to help you come up with ideas. Your design should fit and cover most of a 10x10cm square.
