ST. PAUL’S CATHEDRAL Built in 1697, following the great fire of London. The Church in this place has been destroyed by fire on 3 different occasions.

TOWER OF LONDON The tower of London was once a prison! Two of Henry wives, Anne Bolen and Catherine Howard, were sent there, so his daughter, the future Queen Elizabeth I.

BIG BEN The name refers the 13 ton bell hung within the tower. On the clock- face, the minute hand is over 4 metres long and the figures are 60 cms. high.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE The London home of the British Monarchy since 1837.You can always tell if the Queen is at home when her personal flag is flown.

THE LONDON EYE The EYE is 135 m high and weighs 1600 tonnes. To find the site architects drew a circle around London and worked out the exact centre.

GLOBE THEATRE The original GLOBE THEATRE opened in 1599, burned down in 1613, and was closed by the Puritans in Today, after 400 years it is open to the public again.
