What is DataViews? 1.A customizable tool to view your data. 2.A graphing application that provides static charts or a visual view of live data. 3.A browser that allows free navigation through your data (summarize, drill down, step back) 4.A report engine that allows for data export in a variety of formats (.pdf,.csv)

Why is DataViews Important? Allows for better management based on better more timely information. Saves valuable time by allowing unwanted information to be filtered out. Puts you in control of your data. You are not dependent on developers to write all the reports you need. Prepares you for the future. DataViews will be an integral part of future graphical ProfitMaster applications.

DataViews as a Custom View DataViews can be fully customized by: –Reordering, hiding, resizing columns –Filtering (static or dynamic) –Sorting –Creating custom calculated columns –Summarizing/totaling
