WILL MY DREAMS EVER COME TRUE? Will My Dreams Ever Come True?

WILL MY DREAMS EVER COME TRUE?

“The Holy Spirit came upon him…” (Luke 2:25) “He would not die before he had seen the Lord’s Christ…” (Luke 2:26)

Recognize God As Sovereign And Supreme

“Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace, for my eyes have seen your salvation…” (Luke 2:28-30)

God brought me here; it is by His will that I am in this difficult place.

God will keep me here in His love, and give me more grace.

God brought me here; it is by His will that I am in this difficult place. God will keep me here in His love, and give me more grace. God will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn.

God brought me here; it is by His will that I am in this difficult place. God will keep me here in His love, and give me more grace. God will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons He intends me to learn. In His good time, God can bring me out again - how and when He knows.

“In sum, I am here by God’s appointment, in God’s keeping, under God’s training, for God’s time.”

Claim God’s Counter-Cultural Revelation and Dream

As Simeon praises God, Simeon says to Mary, “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel…” (Luke 2:34)

“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, Jesus.” (James 1:16-18)

Expect Both Glory And Pain, But Also The Robust Triumph Of Jesus

“For my eyes have seen your salvation O God, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people Israel.” (Luke 2:30-32)

But then, in the next breath, Simeon declares many will fall in Israel, and then looking straight at Mary, Simeon declares, “A sword will pierce your own soul too.” (Luke 2:34-35)

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men, on whom his favor does rest.” (Luke 2:8-10)

“All I did was open a door from heaven, and we became full of the Holy Spirit; for we heard the sound of the voice of God.”

“Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men, on whom his favor does rest.” (Luke 2:8-10)

“Don’t be deceived. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. For God chose to give us birth through the word of truth.” (James 1:16-18)
