8. 2. He was prepared to die “Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:” Luke 2:28-29

11. 3. He cared about the lost “For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.” v.30-32

12. Jesus = The Light of Salvation Christmas is the great example of the generosity of God.

13. 4. He blessed others by sharing the Word of God “The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother:

14. "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” V.33-35

15.  Other people will be blessed when you share with them the Word of God.
