3 1. In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth to a virgin; and the virgin’s name was Mary. Luke 1,26-28

4 2. He came to her and said, “Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you!” Luke1:28

5 3. But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and considered in her mind what sort of greeting this might be. Luke 1:29

6 4. The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.’ Luke 1:30

7 5. Behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.’ Luke 1:31

8 6. ‘He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and of his kingdom there will be no end.” Luke: 1:32,33

9 7. Mary said to the angel, “How can this be, since I have no husband?” Luke 1: 34

10 8. The angel said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you.’ Luke 1:35

11 9. “Therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.” Luke 1:35

12 10. “Behold I am the handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” Luke 1:38

13 2. The Visitation

14 1. "In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country to a city of Judah, and she entered the house of Zechariah and greeted Elizabeth." Luke 1: 39-45

15 2. "When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leapt in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit." Luke 2:41

16 3. "She exclaimed in a loud cry, 'Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb." Luke 2:42

17 4. "Mary said 'My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for He has regarded the low estate of His handmaiden.’" Luke 2:46-48

18 5. ‘For behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed; for He who is mighty has done great things for me and holy is His name.’ Luke 2:48-50

19 6. ‘His mercy is on those who fear Him from generation to generation.’ Luke 2:50

20 7. ‘He has shown strength with His arm, He has scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.’ Luke 2:51

21 8. ‘He has put down the mighty from their thrones, and exalted those of low degree.’ Luke 2:52

22 9. ‘He has filled the hungry with good things, and the rich He has sent away empty.’ Luke 2:53

23 10. ‘He has helped His servant Israel, in remembrance of His mercy, as He spoke to our fathers, to Abraham and to His posterity forever.” Luke 2:54,55

24 3. The Nativity

25 1."While they were in Bethlehem, the time came for her to be delivered." Luke 2:6

26 2. "She gave birth to her first-born son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths." Luke 1:7

27 3. "She laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn." Luke 1:7

28 4. "In that region there were shepherds out in the fields and the angel of the Lord appeared to them." Luke 1:8,9

29 5. ‘Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.’ Luke 1:10

30 6. ‘For to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.’ Luke 1:11

31 7. ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased.’ Luke 1:14

32 8. "Behold, wise men from the east came and going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother." Matt 2:1,11

33 9. "They fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh." Matt 2:11

34 10. "Mary kept all these things, pondering them in her heart." Luke 1:19

35 4. The Presentation of Jesus in the Temple

36 1. "And when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord." Luke 2:22

37 2. "Now there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon and this man was righteous and devout.“ Luke 2:25

38 3. "And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he should not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ." Luke 2:26

39 4. "And when the parents brought in the child Jesus, he took him up in his arms and blessed God." Luke 2:27,28

40 5. “Lord, now let thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word.’ Luke 2:29

41 6. ‘For mine eyes have seen thy salvation which thou has prepared in the presence of all peoples." Luke 2:30, 31

42 7. ‘A light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to thy people Israel.” Luke 2:32

43 8. "Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother, “Behold this child is set for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign that is spoken against. ‘ Luke 2:34

44 9. "And a sword will pierce through your own soul also, that thoughts out of many hearts may be revealed.” Luke 2:35

45 10. "They returned into Galilee, to their own city, Nazareth. And the child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.“ Luke 2:39,40

46 5. The Finding of Jesus in the Temple

47 1."Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the Passover. And when he was twelve years old, they went up according to custom." Luke 2:41,42

48 2. "When the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus staying behind in Jerusalem." Luke 2:43

49 3. "When they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, seeking him. After three days they found him in the temple." Luke 2:45,46

50 4. "He was sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions.“ Luke 2:46

51 5. "All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.“ Luke 2:47

52 6. “Son, why have you treated us so? Behold your father and I have been looking for you anxiously.” Luke 2:48

53 7. “How is it that you sought me? Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?" Luke 2:49

54 8. "They did not understand the saying which he spoke to them." Luke 2:50

55 9. "He went down with them and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them; and his mother kept all these things in her heart.“ Luke 2:51

56 10. "And Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and man." Luke 2:52
