Folk tale A folk tale is a story based on the traditions of a people or region, told by parents to children and then by the children to their children.

Strategy Evaluate -You should evaluate a text by identifying the reason the author has written it.

Interfere (verb) to take part in the affairs of others when not asked

Guardian (noun) someone or something who watches over or protects

Agile (adj) able to move and react quickly and easily

Tottered (verb) walked or moved with unsteady steps

Awkward (adj) without grace in movement or behavior

Proclaimed (verb) announced publicly
