Plagiarism: any attempt to knowingly or deliberately pass off other's work as your own. Assign the student extra course work. Reduce the grade on the assignment or examination. Award a zero grade on the assignment or examination. Award a failing grade in the course.

If the student has a past record of academic dishonesty, the minimum penalty shall be a failing grade in the academic project connected with the violation. In addition, the faculty member may […] recommend actions […] such as suspension, and/or dismissal from the university.
