General Model and Terms Statewide project designed to create and implement health IT curriculum Local partners: Spokane Community College, WorkSource system, SAWDC, WIA, navigator/agency Navigator model based on Air Washington Target is veterans and displaced workers, but also looking for incumbent workers and students.

Focus is on IT Only one position Office at WorkSource and SCC Classes begin in September 2013 at SCC Navigator will help identify students, coordinate recruitment activities, he General Model and Terms, cont.

General duties of the Navigator: ▫ Help identify potential students ▫ Coordinate/assist with coordinating recruitment activities ▫ Assist students with navigating college, WorkSource, and employment ▫ Outreach to employers ▫ Direct and indirect employment placements

Budget $95,000 with approximately: ▫ $19,000 available 7/1/13-9/30/13 ▫ $37,500 available 10/1/13-9/30/14 ▫ $37,500 available 10/1/14-9/30/15 Overhead rate will be negotiated Will need to budget for all associated costs, e.g. rent at WorkSource, local travel, etc.

Selection Process SAWDC subcommittee review and recommendation to Executive Committee Based on 100 points Looking for a qualified agency that can meet the criteria of the RFP in a cost effective model that is designed to serve the customer and keep our funders satisfied.
