Information Technology Across the Curriculum -The integration of IT fluency education across existing subjects and curricula. -This approach has been shown to be more effective for non-traditional STEM learners. What is ITAC?

K-12 IT Pipeline Fund Grants Competition Working with regional partnerships to produce the best possible programs. Build partnerships within the regions. Encourage coordination within regions. Require regional leaders be notified. CITI and the Pipeline Fund

The RFP

A – Team Professional Development Grants. Partnerships Professional development for in-service teachers IT skills, IT understanding, integration IT throughout existing curriculum Up to $30,000 each The Grants

B – Continuing Professional Development Grants Partnerships Previous CITI grantees To train a new group of teachers (up to $20,000) or extend activities with existing teachers ($5,000) The Grants

C – Pre-Service ITAC Integration Adapting existing pre- service teacher courses to reflect goals of ITAC and IT fluency Encouraged to offer these courses online $3,000 to $8,000 each The Grants
