2011 ILC Offering Opportunities

Investing in Training the Next Generation This fund will provide money to give, on short notice, to help train and release the younger generation of leadership among us. This will include scholarships for young leaders worldwide, for conferences like the International Leadership Conference, as well as other leadership training events.

The DOVE Africa Transformation Vision Transformation that will affect all sectors of society on the African continent must begin with a renewed mindset. To this end, DOVE Africa has begun training leaders toward a holistic, transformational approach to evangelism and sustainable development through Biblical Worldview seminars. In this training, we are encouraged to break the poverty mentality and attitude of dependence in Africa, and develop our own God-given potential and resources. To further this goal, the Africa Transformation Initiative has projects related to food relief, micro-finance loans, tree nurseries and wells. DOVE Africa’s Nairobi property serves as the main hub for these activities. We want to see this vision continue as we give towards this vital ministry in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda and other nations of Africa.

Helping International Leaders travel to the DOVE Intl. Leaders Conference in 2012 International leaders from around the world need to believe God each year for finances to come to this conference. We desire to provide the opportunity to give in advance to help them with a portion of these expenses. Giving can be general giving for where needed most, or can be earmarked to help a DOVE International leader who wants to come next year.

DOVE Mission International (DMI) The nations await us! God is calling the DOVE family of churches, in all the nations we represent, to engage in the task of taking the gospel to many nations of the world, including those who have never heard the name of Jesus. To serve our existing missionaries, and moreover, to enter new lands and pioneer new works with new missionaries, will take new finances. This offering goes towards the two ministry hubs of DOVE Mission International (U.S.A. and Africa) as it seeks to prepare, send and oversee missionaries around the world. It will help us, as a movement of churches, move to the next level of missions’ engagement in our world today.

The International Apostolic Vision of DOVE International God has called us as a family of churches to continue to expand around the world as we are conformed into the image of Christ and become more like Jesus. Growth includes finding ways to communicate more clearly. Finances given for the International Apostolic mandate of DOVE Christian Fellowship International will be used for our Connection Magazine, Prayer Journal, Leadership Newsletters, internet and web-based communication improvements, and for international travel as needed.

DOVE International Literature Fund We believe that God has called the DOVE International family to be part of transforming nations through books and other literature. To this end, the printing and distribution of literature has been a significant part of our apostolic ministry. We continue to find that many countries lack and cannot afford basic resources to help them grow into healthy churches. We count it a privilege to be able to send and bless these poorer nations with the materials for which they are so desperate. For example, this year we have already blessed a new Christian training college in Sri Lanka. To finance this resource ministry among the nations, we have established a fund to pay for materials and, at times, to translate our literate into other languages. This fund is now nearly depleted, yet the requests constantly reach us. Money received will help strengthen churches and ministries, particularly in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Eastern Europe, so that they might be equipped to transform their nations with the knowledge of Christ.

A Nation or Continent the Lord has placed on Your Heart The Lord has called the DOVE International family to the nations of the world. If the Lord has placed a nation or continent of the world on your heart or on the heart of your church, we would love to sow this money into the nation or continent of your choice. If the DOVE family is already involved in the area of the world you choose, we will give the gift to those who are already serving there to use to build the Kingdom of God. If we are not yet involved in the nation or continent that you designate, we will give it to a reputable ministry that is presently focusing within that nation.
