2. Seeing The Budget As An Opportunity For Prayer The budget is a mini-outline of the planned work for the year. It can help us remember why we are here and what we hope to accomplish. Will you pray regularly for accomplishments in the various areas represented by the budget?

3. Advertising $11,019 Pays for advertising in the phone book Pays for 52 weekly advertisements in the local newspaper Pray for the Lord to use these advertisements as an opportunity to reach people who are searching for the truth. Pray that the weekly article in the newspaper ad will touch hearts with the truth and change lives for Jesus.

4. Audio Visual $1,000 Pays for sound system needs Pays for web page Pray for the Lord to use our web page to reach others and bring them in to Christ. Pray for opportunities to expand this great ministry to serve others in the name of the Lord.

5. Automobile Expense $24,000 For the purchase of a new van. Pray for the work possible with this van – youth functions, transportation to worship for those who have no other means….

6. Buildings and Grounds/ Deferred Maintenance Total of $14,909 Used for improvements and upkeep on the building. This year will include improvements to the outside of the building similar to what was done to the front awning. Prayer of thanksgiving for the Lord’s provision of a convenient and useful place for worship and work.

7. Education $7,185 For curriculum and educational materials. Pray that the Lord will enable us to reach minds and mature them for the Lord and His work.

8. Missions $15,600 Used to support missionaries in foreign fields. Pray that God will bless their work and the spread of the gospel throughout the world.

9. Payroll $79,190 Salaries for three workers Pray for each worker to work conscientiously as working for the Lord

10. Youth $6,000 Pray for those parents who are volunteering time and energy to work with our youth. Pray for the Lord to use this program to strengthen and mature our young people as they grow in the image of Christ. Pray for outreach and increase through our youth program.

11. Total Budget Weekly Faith Budget of $5,200 We have some ambitious plans, we must be ambitious in our contribution. Praise for 2008 – fell short a few thousand dollars for the year. Yet in 2007 we fell short more than $30,000. Let’s pray fervently that God will use each of us to reach and even exceed this budget to provide for great opportunities in 2009.

12. More Than Just Budget The Lord needs more than a pledge of dollars for a year’s work. He needs faithful workers in the field. He needs each and every Christian to commit to the work of the church. One of the greatest contributions we can make to the Lord is ourselves.

13. What Are You Good At? Romans 12:6-8 We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

14. Where Do You Fit In The Family? Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons. …But now God has placed the members, each one of them, in the body, just as He desired…. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 18
