 It looks like a squash made of glass that lights up. The first light bulbs looked like the picture here.

Did you know the light bulb was invented by two people, their names are Thomas Alva Edson and Joseph Swan. It also was invented in Ohio.

1. Although the incandescent lamp was the first and certainly the least expensive type of light bulb. 2. On October, 19, 1879 Edison ran his first test on this new lamp. 3. Thomas Alva Edison, whose development of a practical electric light bulb.

The way it works is it runs by electricity and it is a easy way to get light. It was made in 1877 and it brought light to the world. There are many different kinds of light bulbs in the world. Why do we have light bulbs in steed of lanterns and candles? We know why because Thomas Edison and Joseph Swan created the light bulb we have today, thank the world for the inventors. What we think the future of the light bulb is everybody is buying it for their house. What we think the light bulb will look like in 10 years is it will be different shapes.

Back then the only light was a candle and it could burn out in the night on you. Imagine a world with out electricity.

 The way we think the light bulb could impact on are society is it makes the world a better place, you get light in your house, and it’s a better way to get light besides candles. Now for the bad things so number 1. It might break in storms like thunder storms. 2.You half to change it a lot. 3.You can get electrocuted. Till this day we have light in our rooms. Before After
