3. Little Thomas Edison was born on February 11,1847. He was born in Milan, Ohio. His parents always called him Al because his middle name was Alva.

4. As a child Al moved to Michigan. After he turned seven years old he started going to school. But he thought school was boring! He wanted to know more, so he asked questions, sometimes he asked so many questions he made his teacher mad.

5. Thomas invented: the first light bulb, the first phonograph, he also made the telephone work better.

6. Thomas was deaf because of scarlet fever. He once saved a boy from getting run over by a box car.

7. “The more to do the more done.” “I`m long on ideas, and short on time.”

8. Sadly, on October 18, 1931 Thomas died. When he did all the lights in America Went out honoring him.
