The reason Ramadan received the respect and status among other months is due to Quran. THE MONTH OF RAMADAN IS THE MONTH OF QURAN’S CELEBRATION In other words, Quran is the axis of Ramadan. Thus the importance of Quran can be understood. It’s the biggest Rahmah from Allah.

Every Muslim has the responsibility to convey the message of the QURAN....this Quran has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach...(6:19) THE OBLIGATIONS THE MUSLIMS OWE TO THE QURAN

The Quran makes 5 DEMANDS from every Muslim: 1) To believe in the Quran. 2) To read it. 3) To understand it. 4) To act upon its teachings. (individually and collectively) 5) To convey its teachings to others. THE OBLIGATIONS THE MUSLIMS OWE TO THE QURAN

…..AND YOU MAGNIFY ALLAH (2:185) “The month of Ramadân in which was revealed the Qur'ân, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and Wrong)………… and that you must magnify Allâh [i.e. to recognize Allah’s authority as supreme] for having guided you so that y yy you may be grateful to Him.” Please Note: You must magnify Allah by respecting His laws at all levels of life even enforcing at collective level
