 On Monday the 22 nd of December of last year, at approximately 4:00 PM, James King and Bobo Evans enter a drugstore on 145 th Street in Harlem. The purpose of the crime was to rob the drugstore. During the crime 55 year old store owner Alguinaldo Nesbitt was shot with his own gun and killed. Both money and 5 cartons of cigarettes were stolen. Steve Harmon was the accused lookout for the crew.

 If you consider him innocent now, and by law you must, if you have not prejudged him, then the defense believes they can convince you that nothing the state (Prosecution) will produce will challenge that innocence.

 The Defense ask you the jury, is to look at Steve Harmon now and remember that at this moment the American system of justice demands that you consider him innocent. He is innocent until proven guilty.

 16 year old Steve Harmon is in the Manhattan Detention Center, Cell Block D  Steve Harmon is thin and brown skinned  The beginning setting is the Manhattan Detention Center in New York, New York

 Steve has a flashback when he thinks back to the time James King said “ If I had a crew, I could get paid”  A character trait of James King is he is unscrupulous

 The main motive for the robbery of the drugstore is the crew wanted money  When the Jury adjourns, that means the Jury is leaving the courtroom  The Atmosphere is menacing when Steve hears another inmate being beaten

 The Prosecuting Attorney that called Steve a Monster is Sandra Petrocelli  Asa Briggs is the Defense Attorney for James King

 Jerry wanted him and Steve to become the superheroes Batman and Robin  James King’s Voice/Tone was a drawl
