Juniors Warm-up: Write the definitions for “Wallpaper” literary devices on your “Literary Device” page in your packet (check the “Handbook of Literary and Historical Terms” in the back of your textbook) 2.Read/listen to “Wallpaper” 3.Information about OR presentations HW: work on OR Presentations/read OR novel

Guidelines for OR Presentations (#1 applies to ALL presentations; #2, which continues to the next slide, applies to the “Author Research” task) 1.Provide a brief summary of the novel (use plot triangle)—don’t give away the ending (this applies to ANY of the projects you choose) 2.If you choose to do the “Author Research” project, please do the following: 1.Create a slide (or slides) for early life and mention early influences on his/her writing 2.Create a slide (or slides) that addresses 1.the types of books he/she writes (or wrote) and 2.his/her style of writing (very formal language, informal language, surprise endings, killing off main characters, female or male protagonists, etc.)
