If my student does not have a Social Security Number, what do they put in for applicant information? A. Leave the item blank.

Screen 4 – CA State Residency Information Residency Status Your responses to the following questions are required to make a preliminary assessment of your residency status for admission and tuition purposes. The campus may request additional information prior to making a final residence determination.

Screen 7 – College Information Current, Previous and Planned Colleges Attended Enter the names and locations of all current, previous and planned colleges and universities even if no coursework was completed. Screen 8 – High School Preparation 1 Social Science 2-Years English 4-Years Mathematics 3-Years

Click “Add … Course” to enter a course. Click “Edit” to modify a course. Q. Student took Algebra 1 in 7th grade, how do I report it on CSU Application? Put course as 8th grade course and you can list it in the CSU application. Per CSU High School Preparation 2 Screen Instructions, if you took Algebra 1 or a foreign language in the 7th or 8th grade, report your grades as grade level 8. Click Trash Can to delete a course.

Course List. This list contains your school’s actual courses. Select from the Course List. This list contains your school’s actual courses. If class is not in drop down menu select “Other” and type in the class.

Screen 9 – High School Preparation 2 Laboratory Science 1-Year Biological Science with laboratory (D1) 1-Year Physical Science with laboratory (D2) Language Other Than English 2-Years in same the language Visual/Performing Arts 1-Year College Preparatory Elective Q. I have a student who went right into 3rd year Spanish, how would I report that she meets the 2 years of Language other than English requirement? A. The student should put the other Spanish courses prior to the 3rd year, but for the grades put in Pass, so it is not counted in the GPA. By putting in the appropriate courses, the total foreign language semesters is now 6. Q. I have a student who is fluent in another language and waived by my high school of their foreign language. How do they report that on the application? Insert coursework for 9 & 10th grade and for Title select “Other”. Enter Waiver of LOTE and grades are Pass for 2 semesters. Q. I repeated a course, do I have to list the “bad” grade and the new grade? A. No. As stated below, if you have repeated a course by taking the exact course at a later time, list the highest grade you achieved for the term(s) are repeated. Do NOT enter in a repeated course twice.

Who May Apply to EOP? Historically low-income and educationally underserved undergraduate students who need admission assistance and support services to succeed in college Students who demonstrate academic potential and motivation

Applying to EOP High School Graduate or Equivalent Meet CSU Eligibility for Regular Admission EOP considers admission for students who may not meet regular admission criteria on a campus by campus basis

Applying to EOP Students must complete and submit an application for Undergraduate Admission to the campus before applying to the EOP program. Application to the Educational Opportunity Program includes: 1) Completed Undergraduate Admission application to the campus 2) Completed EOP application with: Applicant Information form Two Recommendation forms

Separate Application for EOP Online EOP applications can be started only AFTER submitting an online application to a CSU campus first To apply for EOP online, Go to Apply Online, then click link to apply for EOP online.
