Snow Day By Katie
Beep, beep, beep, beep. My alarm clock went off at 7:50 am on Monday. Time for school I thought as I woke up my sister. Emily Wake up! Time for school.
We got ready for school. Mom was still asleep. Emily and I started walking to school. Then Mom yelled, Katie, Emily SNOW DAY!!!
We ran inside, grabbed our sleds, threw our backpacks in the snow, and ran to meet our friends on a hill.
We all went sledding. Someone fell into a huge snow drift. They never came out. So everyone else went to go help. When everyone was working their way down the hill.
Out of nowhere it started hailing. So everyone really wanted to get down to the big snow drift. No one could see anything. We were in a blizzard.
When everyone finally got back under the snow drift. We all found the little kid that fell in. No one could get out. The walls were ice.
Everyone had their sleds, so they started hitting the walls with their sleds. There was a loud noise. It sounded like a truck. It was no big deal. But it came our way! Everyone yelled “Help!”
He must have heard us yell help. The man in the truck plowed away for us so we could get back home. When we all got back to our house our mothers had all made us hot chocolate. We got our glasses and said To the Best Snow Day Ever!!
