3. There was a boy named Alex. He went to play in the snow
There was a boy named Alex. He went to play in the snow. He was sliding down the big, big hill.

4. Alex was sliding down the big, big hill when his friend Jarrett came over to slide down the big, big hill too.

5. Alex and Jarrett were sliding down the big, big hill
Alex and Jarrett were sliding down the big, big hill. Then Alex said, “Let’s call Evan so you and I can play with him.”

6. Alex got Evan to come over, so they slid down the big, big hill
Alex got Evan to come over, so they slid down the big, big hill. Jarrett had to go home to do homework.

7. Alex and Evan made a big snowman
Alex and Evan made a big snowman. It fell down, so they made a new snowman. A big, big snow man.

8. Then Alex and Evan made a big, big snow fort. They had a lot of fun.

Jarrett Perry was born in 1998, and started reading books at a very young age. His love of reading books soon turned to writing them. Snow Day is his first publication. He lives in North West Harbour, Nova Scotia, with his dad, mom, brother, sister and his dog Oliver. He loves snow days.
