Over 2,000 years ago a very special woman called Mary was engaged to a carpenter called Joseph. One fine day Joseph found out that Mary was pregnant because of this that night he had a very strange dream explaining that he shouldn’t be alarmed.

“Joseph Don’t be alarmed you will bear a son, you will name him Jesus he will save people from their sins.” “What’s happening who are you!” Joseph's strange Dream.

Caesar Augustus demanded that everyone had to go to their hometown to be registered so Mary and Joseph travelled to Bethlehem. Mary was pregnant so with that she rode on a donkey whereas Joseph had to walk all the way through the desert.

After arriving at Bethlehem they decided to find an inn to stay in unfortunately they were none available and instead they had to stay in a stable.Whilst Mary was there she gave birth to a precious baby boy, he was named Jesus.

“Who are you? An angel appeared in front of them telling the shepherd's all about baby Jesus.The angel also told them that they should follow the shining star which would lead the way to where baby Jesus lay so with that they set off to the stable. “Fear not,for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.” “For unto you is born this day in the city of David is a saviour he is Christ the lord.”

“ look we must follow that star it will lead us the stable where baby Jesus is.” “Ye s but we must each take him a gift.” Wise Men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying “where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw its star when it rose and have come to worship him”. When they saw the star they rejoiced exceedingly and carried on the journey.

The Shepherd's gave a cute baby lamb to baby Jesus, the three wise men gave him gold. Frankincense and myrrh. Mary and Joseph were so delighted that they had gone through lots of trouble to get baby Jesus a gift and to come and see Jesus. THE END
