The Irish Republican Army By Bobby “Car Bomb” Sands

Iv chosen the IRA because I was wacthing the deadliest warrior. The IRA wasn't like the Taliban who were fighting for terror they were fighting for freedom.

One of my questions Is how was the IRA created? They descended from the Irish volunteers, organization formed on November tht staged the eastern rising in April 1919 after the eastern rising they resistance against england established the Irish republic formally established by an elected assemble Dail Eireann.legitimate army. After waged a guriila campain against england, war of independence sigining of the anglo irish treaty

Two main things they fight for, the removal of british forces from northern ireland and the unification of ireland. Britian had control over Ireland in the eastern rising they created the Irish republican. After the treaty the IRA didn’t want to stop fighting they didn’t want separation and all to be catholic unified.

Why do they fight for these? Want to reunite both gain freedom back Very long history What have the accomplished? Gained independence created their own country and gov Rided of their taxes Independent nation Opionion fighting for freedom,

“There can never be peace in Ireland until the foreign, oppressive British presence is removed, leaving all the Irish people as a unit to control their own affairs and determine their own destinies as a sovereign people, free in mind the body, separate and distinct physically, culturally and economically” (“Bobby Sands”)
