Sequoia National Park - California The park - established is famous for its giant sequoia trees. The biggest tree on the planet, „General Sherman“ is 83 m tall. The area is also rich in wildlife. It is home to foxes, rattlesnakes, ground squirrels and bobcats.

New Orleans - Louisiana The city is named after the Duke of Orleans, Regent of France, as the area was a French colony in the 18th century.
