“Going to” - We use “be going to + verb” to talk about future plans. She´s going to buy a new car. - We can also use “be going to + verb (infinitive) for predictions. Look at the clouds. It’s going to rain.

Structure  Affirmative Subject + verb to be + GOING TO+ infinitive  I am going to read a book  They are going to the beach next summer.

Negative  Subject + negative form of To be + GOING TO + infinitive  Example:  I am not going to clean my bedroom  She isn’t going to a party tonight.

Interrogative  Verb To be + subject + GOING TO+ infinitive:  Example:  Are you going to study Medicine?  Is she going to the countryside this weekend?
