Mission: As a squad you are to negotiate the obstacles outlined, in a specific order, as they are intended to be transited within 20 minutes Constraints: Cadet equipment must be secured at all times Each obstacle has two lanes, Cadets may only negotiate the obstacle using one lane, and must remain in the lane they start in Obstacles are to be completed as a squad, with every member completing the obstacle Each obstacle has two lanes – you are to only utilize one of them remaining in the lane that you start the obstacle in Penalties: Each Obstacle is worth 10 points. Points will be deducted for not completing Obstacle as designed and for indivduals not completing Obstacle Definitions: Negotiation of an obstacle - ‘All squad members having fully transited the obstacle as intended’ Equipment Secured – ‘In possession of a team member (carried or within 2mtrs of the squad member)’ Reference: TC Appendix E Obstacle Course

GENERAL: -Teams need to be prepared for the described obstacles and modifications to the obstacles to include completing the obstacles with burdens. -All obstacles are intended to be completed as designed. -0 points will be awarded for completing/attempting to complete obstacles in a manner other than as described. -Each Team Member must make a valid attempt at the obstacle to avoid having zero points awarded. -Ties for points will be decided by who had the fastest time. (teams that had a refusal on an obstacle will not be considered for tie breaking they will be placed in order of points received) -There is a max of 10 points per obstacle Obstacle Course

Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member mounts and climbs rope or net on lowest end (13 ft) of obstacle. Soldier goes over or between logs at top of rope, net or pole. Soldier moves across log walkway, climbs ladder to the high end (33 ft.), then climbs down the cargo net to the ground. Completing the obstacle as quickly (and safely) as possible. -Competitors may not use side supports (frame) of obstacle to aide in climbing onto or off obstacle. -No jumping off obstacle. Keep 3 points of contact on climb down. -Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any Team Member jumps from obstacle (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle. Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member moves from one end of the obstacle to the other by weaving their bodies under one bar and over the next. Completing the obstacle as quickly (and safely) as possible. -2 Team Members may run squad gear to finish point of obstacle then return for their turn in execution. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle - Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete or otherwise. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle. Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member steps over each bar: they either alternate legs or use the same leg each time while not using their hands. (Considerations will be made for shorter Soldiers use of hands). Completing the obstacle as quickly (and safely) as possible. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle. -Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle. Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member climbs vertical ladder. Soldiers goes up to second rung from top, climbs over, and climbs Down other side of ladder. Soldier does not Climb over top rung. Only one soldier on a rung at a time is allowed -Soldiers may not use the guide wires to aide in the completion of the obstacle. -Soldiers must have 3 points of contact at all times -Soldiers may not jump off obstacle, at any point, to complete event. - Team may ground squad gear at finish point of obstacle then return for their turn in execution. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle - Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any Team Member jumps from obstacle (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any MOS refuses to attempt Confidence Climb

Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member moves forward under wire, on their stomachs, to the end of the wire obstacle. -Each Team Member will move under the wire with all assigned equipment. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle -Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle. Belly Crawl

Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member mounts the low log and jump onto middle log. Soldiers pull themselves onto middle log and jump onto high log. They grasp over the top of the log with both arms, keeping the belly area in contact with it. They swing their legs over the log, then lower themselves to the ground. -Soldiers may not use the side supports or diagonal supports to aide in the completion of the obstacle -2 Team Members may run squad gear to finish point of obstacle then return for their turn in execution. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle - Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle. Execution of obstacle: Each Team Member approach the underside of wall, jump up and grasp the top, and pull themselves over. They slide or jump down the incline to the ground. -Each Soldier will move with all assigned equipment. -Each team will be restricted to 1 lane of the obstacle -Team only continues to next obstacle after entire team is complete. -Diagonal supports may not be used to aide in completion of the obstacle. Points will be deducted if: -Any Team Member fails to complete the obstacle as intended or otherwise (1 point per team member). -Any piece of uniform or equipment falls from obstacle (1 point per item). 0 points will be awarded if any Team Member refuses to attempt obstacle.
