Let’s review the previous topic Money (make change, compare and order) Currency: It is a unit of exchange, facilitating the transfer of goods and/or services. It is one form of money, where money is anything that serves as a medium of exchange, a store of value, and a standard of value. To facilitate trade between currency zones, there are exchange rates, which are the prices at which currencies (and the goods and services of individual currency zones) can be exchanged against each other. These are “A.M.” and “P.M.”. The standard unit of time is second. A.M.: A name for time between 12:00 midnight and 12:00 noon. On school days you might wake up at 7:00 A.M. P.M.: A name for time between 12:00 noon and 12:00 midnight. Many people eat dinner at 6:00 P.M. CONFIDENTIAL

The simple conversion table for time is: Time Facts 60 seconds 1 minute 15 minutes 1 quarter-hour 60 minutes 1 hour 90 minutes 1 ½ hours 180 minutes 3 hours To convert from minutes to seconds multiply by 60 and to convert from seconds to minutes divide by 60.
