The Swedishspeaking Ostrobothnia - Our future Our aim is to support the development the inhabitants of the rural areas of Ostrobothnia wish to have. Their needs, wishes and priorities must be paid attention to and be combined with our experience of rural development. Do you have ideas, enthusiasm, visions and knowledge? Do you want to create a future for yourself and others in the countryside? Do you have ideas those make the Swedishspeaking areas of Ostrobothnia an attractive place where to live and work? Aktion Ostrobothnia The society Aktion is a union of organisations, municipalities and private persons in the Swedishspeaking areas of Ostrobothnia. The last years we have specialized in rural development. The aims The aim is to develop ourselves to a dynamo for local development in societies and organisations in the Swedishspeaking Ostrobothnia. A part of this is to realize the LEADER programme of the Swedishspeking Ostrobothnia. The aim is also to activate new active members of the developing work of Aktion and also to develop collaboration with the municipalities and the region authorities in our area. Furthermore we develop the collaboration with the other LAG-groups in Finland especially in the Swedishspeaking areas.
