 Ever since the first football game was played in 1869 the sport of football has been know as one of the most violent sports played.  1917 marked the first time helmets were raised above the head.  Concussion numbers rise throughout all levels of football pressure football helmet developers.

 A concussion results from any sort of force that causes a big movement of the brain.  This movement or “jarring” of the brain causes one to become unconscious.  There are numerous symptoms that result from a concussion some more severe then others.
