3 GEORGIA O’KEEFFE  One of the most famous artists of the 1920s.  She was inspired by modernism art.  Most of her art was based on urban scenes and the landscape.  Two well known paintings are “Ram’s Head White Hollyhock and Little Hills” and “Manhattan”.

4 F. SCOTT FITZGERALD  Author of The Great Gatsby  American short story writer and novelist  Lived in Minnesota

5 ABOUT ART  Two important movements: Surrealism and Art Deco.  Art Deco was a movement that affected archtecture  It was famous in Europe before the US.

6 ABOUT LITERATURE  It was very popular as more people became literate  Authors started to win Nobel Prizes for their work  Scott Fitzgerald was one of the most iconic writers of the time.
