 Pronouns must agree with their antecedents in person and in number.  I gave the glove to Janet.  I gave it to her.  Pronoun = it; antecedent = glove  Pronoun = her; antecedent = Janet

OR  If the kid really doesn’t like something, she is going to do what she wants.
