England Fencing Fencing Multi-skills exercises This set of exercises are to identify and assess the basic skills of fencing in a fun way. They are appropriate for ages 5+ and only require a small amount of gym type equipment. Each exercise can be printed off so individual and ongoing assessments can be recorded for each participant. The teacher or coach needs to demonstrate to the group each multi-skill ‘station’ and explain what are the assessment criteria's for each exercise. Larger groups can be split into teams and encouraged to compete against each other. Two rounds can be run for the session, the first concentrates on assessing each individual and the second as a team. This can be completed in 1 hour.
