Discuss resources required in terms of costs Identify cost benefits from completing the project Furniture Restoration is the option that I intend to focus on for this project. 16 clients identified This is because in May 2013 we were approached by DEL &Voluntary Services Lisburn (VSL) who restore furniture They wanted us to work on a project for them whereby their staff will gain a qualification in Furniture Restoration We have staff who can deliver on City & Guilds Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Restoring Furniture (QCF) 500/8462/8

implications and impact of the project on SERC If this project is successful it will generate income for SERC Teaching staff will be engaged using existing skills on new teaching hours It has helped me focus on alternative options for income revenue generation. It has created a buzz in terms of a new type of work It has identified other areas to be investigated further (Kitchen fitting/Furniture Mft) It has also identified a need for collaboration with other sections of SERC
