Presentation transcript:

Main function: Angelsounds monitors provide the required safety measures & convenience for pregnant women & their family members to listen to the heartbeat of the fetus at home. The devices are designed to be carried with you anywhere you go, due to its unique design, mobile size and attractive colors. You will find it to be very useful at: - Work - Traveling - Events Other functions: Angelsounds can record the heartbeat of mothers during pregnancy & replay the recorded sound for the baby after birth. This can help the baby to cease crying & adapt bit by bit to the environmental changes that’s accompanied for the first 3 months. You can also record the heartbeat of your fetus and store it on your computer to hear it later or it to your physician for further follow up, in case you can not make it to the clinic.

Applicable for: All pregnant women with a minimum of 16 weeks of pregnancy. Tips: Fetal home monitoring is required for all women with a past history of multiple abortions. It is also advised for women who are classified as ‘High Risk Pregnancy’ such as: - Diabetes with pregnancy. - Hypertension with pregnancy. - Blood diseases with pregnancy. The use of Angelsounds enables you to ensure a safe growing environment for you and your fetus. Self monitoring is vital in the following cases: - Accidental falls or strikes. - Long-term working hours & fixed body positions. - After catching a disease or taking medications

The correct method to find your Fetal Heartbeat: Carefully observe how the doctor finds the fetal heartbeat when in the clinic. Repeat the process frequently at home till you master it. Due to the regular growth pattern and changes in the fetal positions along with the fetal regular movements, the position of the fetus heartbeat may vary from time to time. The best way to find it is as following: - From 16 th - 24 th week (1st trimester): the most common place to find the fetus heartbeat is at the middle part, right under the umbilicus or closely around it. - From 24 th – 40 th week (2 nd & 3rd trimester): the most common place to find the fetus heartbeat is around the umbilicus, usually at a higher level than the 1 st trimester. 1 st Trimester 2 nd Trimester 3 rd Trimester

Precautions: Normal heartbeat ranges from 120 – 160 beats/minute. In case the heartbeat is beyond this range, you are required to visit your physician. In case of failure to listen to the fetal heartbeat but fetal movements are detected, rest assure and retry again. In case of weak fetal heartbeats, you are required to visit your physician immediately Precautions: Normal heartbeat ranges from 120 – 160 beats/minute. The pregnant women who need monitoring most are: Pregnant mothers less than 18yrs; as they will be more vulnerable to dystocia. Pregnant mothers above 30yrs; as they are at higher risk to complications with pregnancy; such as hypertension or diabetes with pregnancy. Mothers with a past history of multiple abortions or premature delivery. With recurrent late pregnancy bleeding (Threatened Abortion), which could be due the abnormal position of the placenta (e.g. placenta previa ) Early detection of “Cord Around the Neck”. Abnormal fetal position. High risk pregnancies.
