Welcome to Destiny The Online Card Catalog

T o log on to Destiny, you will need access to the Internet. Then type in the url:destiny.ccisd.com. You will then see this page:destiny.ccisd.com

When you have reached the high school site, you should log in:

On the homepage, you will find useful websites, a book trailer, as well as other helpful items.

You may then click on the “Catalog” tab to begin your search.

Once you have entered your search term and chosen the type of search, you will see the results. I searched “diseases.”

You may choose to view the details of a source.

While you are searching for books, Destiny is also searching the databases using One Search.

When you click on One Search, you will see the database results. Be sure to click on “Get Results” to speed up the process. Please see the One Search PowerPoint for further instructions.

The My Info tab allows you access to your account information. It is also the area where you can create a Resource List.

You can create resource lists for class assignments, books you want to read, etc. Please see the Resource List PowerPoint for further instructions.

When you are finished using Destiny, be sure to log out of it.
