International context (cont.) –European Higher Education in the World Key priorities –Strengthen capacity of HE and research to address global challenges by engaging in innovation-orientated international partnerships –Tackle remaining obstacles to dual/double degree programmes, and improve provision for quality assurance and cross-border recognition –Provide entrepreneurial and innovative curricula including transferrable skills, and create international training opportunities by working together with employers inside and outside the EU –Ensure coherence between internationalisation strategies and EU development cooperation policies

Conclusion –In these various ways the values of the Plan will be met, the objectives for TNE will be achieved and we will deliver the mission which is to –Transform people and communities by delivering accessible, high quality, higher education through partnership working
