6 1.2 Getting Started Register as an individual first. Team registration will become available at a later date Technology needed: Internet Access Every team needs their Gmail account and register as an official Technovation team. Use your Gmail account to create apps in the MIT App Inventor platform. ( Computer (Recommended Mac OSX v10.7 or newer) Android phone (Recommended Ice Cream Sandwich version 4.0 or newer.

7 1.3 Overview of Lessons – Set a Weekly Meeting Time Technovation recommends meeting for at least 4 hours per week for 12 weeks Decide when your team/club wants to meet. In any project or assignment, it’s important to stay on track by committing to the designated times and consistently showing up. You can find the an overview of the lessons on pages 4-5 of the Student Workbook.
