3 5.1 Incorporating Feedback Take a look at the feedback that you have you noted on page 21 of your workbook. How will you modify your prototype? Make sure you look back at your project plan and revise that based on your new prototype. What were the comments on your product description? Revise the description based on the feedback. 2 Record your ideas in page 21 of the workbook

4 5.2 Project Planning List features your need for your app. Use the priority column to track which features are most important. (A priority “1” means that it’s the very first feature you need to complete.) List skills and tools you need for each feature. Research tutorials and videos that will help How long do you think each feature will take? Who will be responsible for which features? Have your teacher/mentor look over your plan. 5 5.3 Competitive Analysis What makes your app better than others that are out there? Is your app easier to use? Does your app have features that other apps do not? Get feedback from your teacher and mentor once you’re finished. 4

6 5.4 Transfer Prototype to AI Use your paper prototype to develop a skeleton of screens in App Inventor: Make and name a screen in App Inventor for each screen your app will have “Screen1” must be your home screen! Add all components that you will need for each screen FIRST. Start on the blocks after the components have been added. 5

7 Next Week Continue working on your prototype according to your plan. If you’re ahead of schedule, that’s great! 6
