HISTORY OF THE EU European Parliament set up at Strasbourg. EEC becomes the EC ( ‘economic’ conveniently dropped from the title) The Maastricht Treaty, renamed ‘European Union’, signed by Foreign and finance ministers, binding the 12 nations to economic and monetary union, common currency. The religious dimension was not apparent, but leaders products of the RC Social Movement with aim of unifying Europe Amsterdam Treaty gave more powers to unelected Commission.

HISTORY OF THE EU Treaty of Nice signed by PM Tony Blair established the EU as a sovereign federal state. Corpus Juris replaced the longstanding British criminal code, trial by jury and Habeas Corpus Constitution bringing 450 million citizens of East and West together, with legal identity, single currency, flag, anthem, common justice and defence system. Europe is now almost a Sovereign State dominated by Rome.
