COMMON DEBATE AMONG SPORTS FANS Football fans point towards the money as their evidence. Baseball fans point towards their history. Basketball fans support their claim with the globalization of their game. Hockey fans will fight to the death to have their sport listed as the best. But, like most arguments in sports, this debate comes down to one basic measurement: statistics.
