5. Portrayed Many people were against him playing because he was African American and this was during the time of Segregation. Also there were people who didn’t like the previous teams he had played for. There were people that liked him and appreciated what he had done and that he wasn’t let anything stop him from doing what he wanted to do.

6. Significance He broke the color barrier in the National Baseball League. So that also makes him the first African American to be in the National Baseball League. There are a lot of things that make Robison significant. I think what made him significant was that he didn’t let anything stop him from doing something that he loved to do.
