Project topic Case Hardening Gears. Program should be able to take information such as desired carbon concentration at a given depth and calculate time and temperature of heat treatment. Out put could be number, graphical form of carbon build up, grey scale image or use your imagination.

Diffusion Data

Start Team meetings with on Tuesdays with me. Tables of “erf” and “diffusion” data for calculations. For this Thursday – work out a strategy of how you intend to tackle the project from each team. Tuesday April 10 th – report to me on strategy.
