Half Note The Half note is the next size directly smaller then the whole note. It is half of the size of the whole note. The half note takes up 2 beats 4/4 time. The largest note value with a stem. ReturnNext Type of Note

Quarter Note The quarter note is the next size directly smaller then the half note. It is a quarter of the size of the whole note. The Quarter note takes up 1 beats 4/4 time. There can be four quarter notes in 4/4 time. ReturnNext Type of Note
