Pilot Mental Health Nurse Project 2012 An agreement was reached to undertake a pilot for eight weeks for three hours each week in which to see young people. This ran from February to April To identify students who might not meet the referral threshold for CAMHS but might need support beyond what the college is able to provide. Aims and Objectives The pilot aimed to offer assessment of the presenting difficulties to identify if : the student might be further supported in college. required signposting to another service. required referral to a CAMHS service in their area of residence. to allow early intervention.
