Chapter 46 highlights Sematech was in trouble- search for Chief Executive had begun. Bob Noyce was highly instrumental in planning of the consortium(Sematech). Bob decided to serve Sematech and became its first President. A lot of cultural differences, disharmony was present in Sematech’s employees. Again Bob was the one who instilled a sense of duty and team spirit. Sematech made it to the top. Became a model - depicting how industry and government can work together to restore manufacturing industries. Sematech was in trouble- search for Chief Executive had begun. Reflection Question Bob was a successful Entrepreneur, Leader, Creator. Which title of Bob do you agree the most to? And why? My personal opinion towards Bob: Latin phrase – ‘ Veni, Vidi, Vici’ which means ‘I came, I saw, I conquered ’ till date never got a chance to use this powerful phrase.
