GLOBAL / COLD WAR  THE CONCLUSION OF W.W.II INTIATED THE COLD WAR BY THE SOVIET UNION REFUSING TO PERMIT SEL- DETERMINATION IN NATIONS LIBERATED FROM GERMAN CONTROL.  VLADIMIR LENIN AND JOSEPH STALIN CONTRIBUTED TO THE CONSOLIDATION OF COMMUNIST POWER IN THE SOVIET UNION.  INDEPENDENCE MOVEMENTS AMONG PEOPLE WITHIN EUROPE COLONIES CONTRIBUTED TO THE CREATION OF NEW NATIONS FOLLOWING W.W.II.  THE UNITED STATES USED COVERT ACTIONS WITHIN EACH COUNTRY TO UNDERMINE COMMUNIST SUCCESS IN COUNTRIES LIKE CUBA AND NICARAGUA.

GLOBAL / COLD WAR  The differences of communism in China versus the Soviet Union was the Soviets emphasized industrialization while the Chinese focused on agricultural workers.  The Cold war contributed nuclear weapon build up between the United States and Soviet Union.  Pope John Paul II in 1981 was almost assassinated for his dislike of the communist movement and the Soviet Union were the prime suspects.  During the Cold War the Palestinians were forcing their political changes by conducting terrorism.

GLOBAL / COLD WAR  THE CONFLICTS BETWEEN ARAB STATES AND ISREAL WERE PREVELANT DURING THE COLD WAR BECAUSE MOST ARAB STATES HAVE NEVER ACCEPTED THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ISREAL.  THE COLLAPSE OF THE SOVIET UNION’S ECONOMY IN THE 20 TH CENTURY WAS DUE TO THE LACK OF INCENTIVES TO MOTIVATE WORKERS AND IMPROVE PRODUCTION EFFECIENCY.  PUBLIC LAW WAS APPROVED SEPTEMBER 8, 2001 AND IT GRANTED THE PRESIDENT APPROVAL TO CONDUCT ANY NECESSARY MILITARY ACTION.

GLOBAL / COLD WAR  THE DIVISION OF EAST AND WEST BERLIN HEIGHTEN THE COLD WAR TENSION BETWEEN THE SOVIET UNION AND UNITED STATES.  IN 1948 THE SOVIET UNION BUILT THE BERLIN WALL TO KEEP THE U.S, FRENCH AND GREAT BRITIAN OUT OF EAST BERLIN.  THE KILLING FIELDS OCCURRED IN CAMBODIA UNDER THE RULE OF KHMER ROUGE REGIME BETWEEN ( ), AFTER THE CAMBODIAN CIVIL WAR. THE ATROCITY(HOLOCAUST) OF HIS OWN PEOPLE.

GLOBAL / COLD WAR  THE MARSHALL PLAN HELPED EUROPEAN NATIONS, BY RE-ESTABLISHING THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM AND STRENGTHENING THE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT.  THE USE OF NAPALM DURING THE VIETNAM WAR WAS ORGINALLY USED FOR BURNING AWAY VEGETATION, BUT IT BECAME DEVASTING AND HARMFUL WHEN PEOPLE WERE HIT BY IT.
