Healthy Casserole Cook-off Goal: Encourage healthy cooking and eating health. Educate participants on using healthier alternatives to cooking. Challenge: Participants must cook an healthy casserole containing healthy ingredients and be less than 700 calories, less than 10 grams of fat and less than 750 mg of sodium 1 st place winner: Sandra Varela Winning recipe: Chicken Divan 2 nd place winner: Norma Vergara Winning recipe: Chicken & Rice

Fitness Hoop Challenge Goal: Get participants to engage in low impact cardio while having fun. Last participant left still rotating the hula hoop around waist after 30 secs is declared the winner of the group. The winner of each competing group competes to determine the grand prize winner. Walking the Distance Challenge Goal: Encourage participants to walk at least 10,000 steps a day to get fit, increase their cardiovascular activity and improve their overall health. Challenge: The participant with the highest number of record steps walked in a week and a half time period would be declared the Winner. 1 st place winner: Michael Walker 112,651 steps 2 nd place winner: Sharon Thompson 63,721 steps
