About 52,000 CT residents will receive a Medicaid redetermination letter in the next 60 days since their eligibility for Medicaid will need to be redetermined by the Department of Social Services. What should consumers be instructed to do in the AHCT portal? If a consumer is currently on Medicaid then he/she must complete the HIX application within 60 days of their Medicaid expiration date. This will include completing screens indicating that Medicaid is their current health coverage.
