What is Climate Change? Climate change is any long-term change in the weather. It involves changes in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over durations ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by dynamic process on Earth, external forces including variations in human activities.

What Causes Climate Change? Carbon Dioxide from Power Plants 40% of carbon dioxide emissions from the burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electricity generation.

What Causes Climate Change? 2 Deforestation 40% of carbon dioxide emissions from the burning of fossil fuels for the purpose of electricity generation.

What Causes Climate Change? 3 If car manufacturers were to increase their fleets' average gas mileage about 3 miles per gallon, the country could save a million barrels of oil every day, while US drivers would save $25 billion in fuel cost annually.

The Effect Of Global Warming 1.Rising Sea Level 2.Glacier Retreat 3.Arctic Shrinkage 4.Extreme Weather 5.Tropical Diseases 6.Change In The Time Of Seasons In The Eco-System

Solar radiation passes through the clear atmosphere Some solar radiation is reflected back into space by the earth and its atmosphere

Ways To Prevent Climate Change 1.Recycle 2.Use Energy-Efficient Appliances 3.Plant More Trees 4.Drive Less 5.Use Less Energy

Ways To Prevent Climate Change 2 6. Use Less Plastic Bags 7. Use Solar Energy 8. Use Wind Energy 9. Use Hydro Energy
