True - The Iowa Direct Care Worker Advisory Council was charged with estimating the size of the workforce and worked closely with Iowa Workforce Development to identify the number of DCPs in Iowa. This is likely an under- estimation.

How many more DCPs will Iowa need by 2018? ANSWER C. $193 Million – This estimate is based on a turnover rate of 64%! This is a huge burden on employers that this system is seeking to address.
